Mt Ruapehu and The Chateau - New Zealand

The Ruapehu region is located in the heart of New Zealand’s North Island. Well known for it’s rugged natural beauty and expansive awe-inspiring landscape, it is within this natural playground that you’ll be inspired and captivated by the majesty of the region. The region is proudly home to not one but two of the National Cycle-way trails; Central North Island Rail Trail and Mountains to the Sea, amongst others.

Navigate the deep gorges, surrounded by rich flora and fauna bush areas of the Whanganui River, at your leisure.

Surrounding the region are the urban settlements of Taumarunui, National Park, Ohakuneand at the far eastern reaches, the army town of Waiouru.
