Taste of Auckland
A full day tour of the Auckland wine region specialising in stunning wine and food experiences, behind the scenes experience, hosted wine tastings of reserve grade wines. Taste of Auckland was created for visitors who enjoy great wine and to explore the area, the wineries matched with local foods and the people who crafted them. Taste of Auckland tours through a select number of boutique and iconic producers, with a history of results, fabulous service and stunning range of wines.
Wineries regularly included in the tour are Coopers Creek, Brookfield Estate, Kumeu River Estate and The Hunting Lodge. * (Please note that all the wineries included can and do change on certain days as we are very dependent on availability of senior wine staff. Where required we will substitute for other wineries). 9 to 9:45 am pickup in Auckland CBD heading into the Western wine region. Start the day with an educational tour and talk at Coopers Creek winery before visiting Auckland’s Iconic winery Kumeu River Estate for a tasting of the range of world-renowned wines. Following two larger wineries its time for a lovely lunch at the family owned The Hunting Lodge Winery & restaurant (own cost lunch). After lunch enjoy Wild west coast before heading to sweet treat tasting at Matakana Chocolates or award winning Puhoi ice cream.

Northland Sights from East to West Coasts
Day 1 Collection from hotel or airport and depart on tour and start with a visit to Americas Cup, Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron West Haven, Allan will share some stories of his yachting past. Then heading Orewa and Wenderholm Royal cottage for the short walk and a coffee before heading to further north and the Orewa lookout, enjoying wonderful coastal views across the beach, back to the Haruki Gulf on a clear day views right across to the northern islands.
We begin our drive north to Whangarei. We will stop in Whangarei to have lunch and explore the little township enjoying sights such as the glass blowing, Clapham Clock Museum and Hundertwasser Art Centre. From here we will enjoy the scenic drive to Paihia and a short exploration of the town, before dropping you are your accommodation. Remainder of day own time to explore/relax.
Day 2 Visit Russell and the Waitangi treaty grounds. You have the option of including; a sailboat trip to a marine reserve (cost is $120pp), Swim with Dolphins (cost is150pp). Speak to us if you are interested in a scenic flight POA. If these options are not of interest we will continue exploring bey vehicle the attractions of the area and include a walking along Beach and kayaking or for Gold lovers a round of Golf at Kauri Cliffs. (Optional at an extra cost).
Day 3 We head to Kaitaia. This is an easy driving day so will stop many times to visit places and hidden gems, for example Hahei Taupo Bay, Cable bay, The Kauri museum. Options include; Day fishing, Bush walks POA or a seafood lunch at the world-famous Mangonui Fish and chip shop.
Day 4 Trip We outsource a trip to Cape Reinga cost included with local guided tour operator who has the appropriate vehicle who will take you right up to the lighthouse. A full day including a BBQ lunch. For those very active can slide down the sand dunes on boards, option to fly back to Paihia, or a helicopter scenic flight also with an extra cost POA.
Day 5 Travel day. On the way south we visit the Kauri Forest and the famous Matakohe Kauri Museum before heading to lunch in Warkworth and returning our guests to Auckland.
Rain Forest to Rotorua
Day 1 We head to Auckland to Coromandel and our base here is Whitianga, a Seafood paradise with , white sandy beaches full of history dating back to Captain Cook who claimed New Zealand for the British. With the lush free rain forest with wild life and the coast line full of seafood the Coromandel is a gold mine. Time is allowed for the walk to world famous Cathedral Cove. Dig a hole and dip your feet in Hot water Beach before stopping the night in Tauranga.
Day 2 From Mount Maunganui we head to Te Puke the Kiwi Fruit capital of the World. This area is known for Kiwi Fruit, Dairy farming and Honey. We stop at Convita Honey to learn about Beekeeping or take for an extra cost you can charter a helicopter trip to White Island (at an extra cost POA) an active volcano before heading to the geothermal hot spot Rotorua for the night, Here you will have a choice of fine dining or cultural performance including a traditional Hangi (Not included in the cost). We then visit Lake Tawawera to view the ancient Maori cave painting then onto explore the buried village.
Day 3 Rotorua is in a region called the Bay of Plenty, a myriad of things to see and do there catering to all levels of taste. We will visit Te Puia, Whakarewarewa forest, An ancient Maori village, and carving Centre, The Redwood walk, a secret between spot between the blue and green lake.
From here return late afternoon to Auckland if required via Hobbiton or extend for another day for further exploration. We suggest Taupo and Napier as great additions to this tour and can provide detailed itins capturing the essence of these regions.

Day 1 Friday night Pickup central Auckland We head paradise with warm nights, white sandy beaches playing golf and staying at Waitangi a place full of history dating back to Captain Cook.
Day 2 Play the world-renowned Kauri Cliff Golf course we head to
Golf Extended tour 3 or 4 days.
Arrival at Auckland airport meeting Greeted by your guide who takes you on a short scenic tour to your hotel via the Auckland stunning waterfront. Check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy downtown Auckland close to The America’s Cup Village only a few minutes walk away.
Day 1. Auckland to Gulf Harbour and on to Paihia for the night. 1 Hour warm up on the practice range. Gulf Harbour Golf Club – Course with shared motorised carts this is one of the most majestic golf courses overlooking the Haraki Gulf and Americas cup race course. After lunch at the Golf club gulf we head to Whangarei stopping at the town basin for coffee and comfort before going
on to Paihia where you will be staying 2 nights.
Day 2. Take a cruise on one of the local private or public boats through the majestic Bay of Islands out to the Hole in the rock at Kokoako Island or an option to take a half day 6 hours fishing on the boat the Alma G that Zane Gary fished from in 1926 (POA). After the morning activities you have the half day of leisure to yourself – see below suggestions options which come at an additional cost. Dinner will be a night cruise to the Harura falls enjoying fresh seafood, beef or Venison from local farmers.

Day 3. Choice of 9 or 18 holes at Kauri Cliffs or Waitangi Golf Club. Morning starts at 9:30am with a Day of Golf at Kauri Cliffs you will have time for lunch before heading back to Paihia via Kerikeri and the stone store the oldest building in New Zealand a rich fruit growing area. Catching the ferry to explore neighbouring Russell to have dinner at the oldest restaurant in New Zealand the Gables Restaurant Built in 1847.
Day 4. Today, choose to relax around the resort, spend the day enjoying the sun at one of the many
pools, indulge in the onsite day spa or let G&T suggest a unique experience. Kauri Forest at Matahoke and Museum.
Day 5. Option of a 30 minute Golf Clinic with Steve William. Then a round of Golf with Steve at the Titirangi Gold Club. He will walk around 6 holes and assit and instruct where needed. Max group 10 pax.
