Owned by Rob and Toni, Auld Farm Distillery, nestled in the heart of Southland, New Zealand, is a unique gem in the world of spirits.
Our family-run Farm and Distillery prides itself on its “seed-to-sip” spirits, where every step of the production process, from growing and nurturing the grains to crafting the final spirit, is meticulously managed on-site. This approach not only ensures the highest quality but also imbues each bottle with the distinct character of the Southland terroir.
Our distillery’s offerings include Single-Malt Whisky’s, Single-Grain Whisky’s, Terroir driven Gin, and a range of innovative spirits, all crafted with a deep respect for tradition and a passion for exploration.
The Private “Seed-to-Sip” experiences at Auld Farm Distillery invite visitors to immerse themselves in the entire journey of their spirits. Guests can tour the fields where the grains are grown, visit the distillery to see the craftsmanship in action, and finally, enjoy a tasting session where they can savour the fruits of this labour-intensive process.

Description
I’ve long been a fan of the South, loving the flavours and experiences offered at the Coast & inland in its fertile farming plains. Amongst my indulgences are a monthly delivery of Fat Bastard pies and I loved exploring the Caitlins, during my time down there enjoying the proximity of the fabulous nature and trails on Stewart Island. OK so now I have a new favourite. 😊
I will be proudly working hard to represent Auld Distillery. Rob and Toni reached out to me following a few recommendations (Thanks to whoever that was!) We’ve had a number of robust and positive discussions and they have expressed a desire to work with Trade, looking after small groups and FIT visitors to share their love of the land and the miracles of distillery life!
